Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC)
Using the OPAC
Computer stations installed in the library are dedicated for OPAC use. Available library resources are indexed in the OPAC for retrieval. The desired resource can be located by using a single or combination of the following search key:
Title
Author
Subject
Keyword search
Enter the search keyword in the search input box and click the search button. The resource, if part of the library holding, will be listed indicating its call number, quantity, and physical location.
Procedures for Locating Library Resources
The UB Learning Resources can be located by the using the Card Catalog (physical index) or through the electronic searching features of the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). Library resources not yet digitized can be traced using both methods.
Books are shelved according to different categories and designated call numbers to aid in their location. The Placement Code/ Location Symbol will guide the users to the physical location of the resource in the library.
